Doesn't that seem a little weird? Well, I actually agree with you. I wonder what stainless would do to the cost. They wouldn't have to paint it (although there probably would be a clear coat), but the stainless would be more expensive. Going to stainless would probably require a lot of retooling of the plant, possibly new crash tests. With those 2 major improvements, they could sell well if they can keep the price down. Especially as the economy turns around.
