I think the 210-horsepower 4.0-liter V-6 that is the current base engine in the Mustang is the worst engine of any car in production today. I know those are strong words, but it really is just horrid. That engine actually dates back to the mid-60s, believe it or not. It’s way past time to retire it.
The new 3.7 is completely modern, using all of the latest technology. Just think about everything engineers have learned about building engines since then.
I’ll take a green version. The V-6 with the turbo slapped on! So the old V-6 was bad?
There’s just something about a Mustang and a 302. It’s just the way it should be.
I think I’m more excited about the new V-6 base engine. The 4.0-liter is just awful.
Good stuff. Love to see the return of the 5.0! How can I get them to cram that into the new Fiesta?
